The Expo
The day will feature a trade expo of
exhibitors whose main business is offering
products and services to grass roots sports.
Many exhibitors will have exclusive on-the-day offers that you can
only access by attending SCME 2015.
Exhibitors include:
- Sports Apparel - e.g. Custom Officials or Teams uniforms
- Sports Equipment - e.g. First aid, sporting gear
- Government Agencies, Council, et cetera
- Sports Technology Businesses - e.g. Software, Membership

The Workshops
From social media to sports rage: SCME 2015 provides five workshop sessions
throughout the day for sports clubs to attend.
The workshops are designed to be useful and engaging, and will enable you to
bring information back to your committee to implement.
Each attendee will attend all workshops.
Recordings will be available online after the event to those who opt-in.
Topics include:
- Sponsorship and Fundraising
- Grant Writing
- Social Media: Best Practices
- Complaint Handling and Sports Rage
- Governance - running your club and having effective meetings

Lucky-door prizes & give-away
Every eligible club will receive a special give-away on the day valued
at $89. Clubs must be present at lunch time to redeem the give-away (no
exceptions!). There will be a break in the workshops at lunch to ensure no
clubs miss out.
Lucky door prizes provided by our sponsors will also be drawn at lunch. You have to
be in it to win it - and clubs must be present to claim lucky door prizes.
